Grayson Kennedy
Character Award

Character defines who we are. A strong character is built of integrity, kindness, generosity and compassion for others and is used as a moral compass to do what’s right and for staying true to who you are.

Grayson played football for CHS and in partnership with the football coaches the Grayson Kennedy Character Award was created. Our family is honored the football coaches thought so highly of Grayson that they helped us create this character award in his name. Over and over again we have heard stories where he was positive and uplifting and a friend to everyone. He was a natural leader and helper. Grayson was a champion for everyone, especially the overlooked or the underdog. He was kind and good. As Grayson’s family, we already knew this about him, but it was wonderful to hear how much he exhibited these character traits with his football teammates and others.

The Grayson Kennedy Character Award recipient receives a gift certificate, a personal award, and has their name engraved on a plaque that will hang in the weight room
