Grayson Kennedy Trade Scholarship

Grayson Kennedy Trade Scholarship

Grayson Kennedy was a vibrant and compassionate 15-year-old with an insatiable curiosity and a heart for helping others. Whether he was working on his lathe, tinkering with machines, welding, or dreaming of a future as a medical technician, Grayson approached life with enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine desire to lift others up. He was the kind of kid who made sure everyone felt included and valued, embodying kindness and selflessness in everything he did.

In 2022, the Grayson Kennedy Memorial Fund was created to honor his legacy of generosity and support for others. Offering a helping hand came naturally to Grayson, and we continue that tradition by providing scholarships in his name.

Our scholarship is designed to help young adults in the Camas community start their professional journeys by supporting those pursuing trade schools or skilled trades programs. Whether it’s welding, automotive technology, construction, or another hands-on profession, we aim to give students the same encouragement and support that Grayson so readily shared with those around him.

With this scholarship, we hope to carry forward his spirit of kindness, hard work, and determination, helping the next generation achieve their goals and create fulfilling careers.
